Why API Terms

What API directories leave out

Most API directories tell you that an API exists. They rarely tell you how to authenticate, what the free tier includes, where the rate limits are, or whether any of those terms recently changed.

API Terms collects those details from vendor documentation and links every field back to its source. We check those pages again over time and record what changed. When a vendor does not publish something, we leave it blank.

It is useful when you are comparing APIs, running an integration in production, or building agents that need to choose between tools.
